Off to Rwanda! Stories of Hope

VFC Digital Media Instructor and Photographer, Ned Castle, is once again taking part in Harwood Union High School's annual Stories of Hope trip to Rwanda! Ned has been joined this year by VFC Education Outreach/Media Instructor and Filmmaker, Myles Jewell.

Led by educator, Steve Rand, for the past 12 years Stories of Hope has brought a group of students and adults from Harwood Union High School to Rwanda to learn first hand about the post-genocide reconciliation process.

Ned and Myles bring our ethnographic orientation and their extensive media-making skills to Harwood's program-providing students with training in video, audio and still photography as well as a framework in which to use these tools.

Check out an album of photos from the trip: Stories of Hope 2016.
